Cut String Staircase
This Cut string staircase has Bespoke 41mm Colonial spindles, Bespoke 90mm Colonial Newel posts with a Twist detail and a Stairpan's SHR section handrail. The Cut string has no brackets.
The main structure of the staircase was in Engineered Pine and the hardwood parts that have been stained are in Sapele. The string has a mitre to the riser and the treads have traditional mitre return nosings. Under the tread there is a scotia detail. Cut String Staircases built with craftsmanship produce a quality wooden staircase.
The Spindles are specialy turned with 2 different turning lengths to follow the pitch of the staircase along the handrail line and stay level with the treads at the bottom.

Prescott Bespoke Oak staircase with a cut string to the face side. newel posts and spindles also bespoke turned design unique to this staircase. The bracket also had extra carving put into the face.
